Illus. in color on various handmade papers by Rigby Graham. 11.5x7.75", gilt-lettered flexible vellum, gilt-lettered spine, acetate, handmade paper cover lettered in gilt. No. 56 of fewer than 400 copies printed by Will Carter on handmade paper from Millbourn at Tuckenhay in Devon, as well as handmade papers from Wookey Hole in Somerset, Twelve by Eight Private Mill in Leicester and Hayle Mill in Kent. Leicester: Twelve by Eight Press, 1965.

Signed by printed John Mason (of Twelve by Eight Press) on the limitation page. Illustrations are mainly of food or food-related images by Rigby Graham (1931-2015) who was a respected landscape artist with little time for the London art scene. The verses herein refer to papyrus and the art of papermaking. Bookplate of Walter Frankel. Fine.
