The chapter was located in Simsbury, CT. The name Abigail Phelps was chosen because she was the mother of three Revolutionary War officers, David, Elisha, and Noah. When the Simsbury charter was granted in 1894, twenty-one members were lineal descendants of Abigail. Recipes include lobsters a la Connecticut D.A.R., New England crullers, corn salad pickle, quince honey, ping pong cookies, etc. Fine.
